The Navarrese industrial cooperative highlights the motivation, learning ability and enthusiasm shown by the participants in this initiative organised by Diario de Navarra and ESIC Business & Marketing School, with the sponsorship of Acción Social de Caja Rural de Navarra.

Tafalla Iron Foundry has drawn a very positive conclusion from its participation in Talento Joven Navarra 2026, a programme driven by Diario de Navarra and ESIC Business & Marketing School, with the sponsorship of Acción Social de Caja Rural de Navarra, which aims to bring young people closer to the business world and facilitate their entry into the labour market.

As an industrial cooperative integrated within Mondragón Corporación, TIF considers it essential to contribute to talent development and to bring the reality of industry closer to new generations. During their participation in the programme, the young people had the opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of how an industrial company operates, as well as the professional development opportunities the sector has to offer.

Edurne Gil, Head of Selection and Training at Tafalla Iron Foundry, highlights that the experience has been enriching both for the participants and for the organisation itself. “We have encountered young people with a great capacity for learning, motivation and interest in understanding how an industrial company works,” she notes.

Gil also underlines that talent is one of the pillars of the company’s cooperative model. “We understand that talent goes beyond technical knowledge. We see it as the combination of skills, attitude, commitment and willingness to learn that enables people to add value to the cooperative project,” she explains.

The Head of Selection and Training also emphasises the potential that exists within the Comunidad Foral. “Navarra has a very solid industrial, educational and technological ecosystem that produces highly qualified professionals. There is a great deal of talent in our community and we must continue working to identify it, develop it and offer it attractive opportunities,” she states.

Tafalla Iron Foundry particularly highlights the attitude, curiosity and eagerness to learn shown by the participants, as well as their ability to work as a team and bring forward new ideas. The cooperative believes that initiatives such as Talento Joven help to strengthen the connection between business and young people, while also supporting the development of Navarra’s industrial fabric.

For TIF, innovation, competitiveness and excellence are closely linked to people development. For this reason, the company will continue to support programmes that foster young talent and help raise awareness of industry’s role as a driver of employment, innovation and sustainable development.
