This Wednesday, Tafalla Iron Foundry participated in the XVII Employment and Entrepreneurship Fair organized by the Public University of Navarra (UPNA), where the cooperative and social economy model sparked great interest among attendees. Ignacio Ugalde, president of ANEL and our cooperative’s HR Director, expressed his satisfaction with “the very positive response” from the new generation towards this collaborative work model that puts people at the center of the organization.

With over 900 participants and 87 companies, the fair brought together leading cooperatives such as Tafalla Iron Foundry, Maier, Embega, and Mapsa, reaffirming the appeal of the cooperative model for young people looking for a values-driven work environment. During the event, the Minister of Social Rights, Social Economy, and Employment, Carmen Maeztu, highlighted the initiatives led by the Government of Navarra to promote youth employment, such as job orientation and training programs partially funded by European funds.

Tafalla Iron Foundry reaffirms its commitment to young talent and the Social Economy, not only as pillars of our activity but also as a pathway towards more sustainable and people-centered employment.
