Tafalla Iron Foundry has signed a protocol with the Public and Occupational Health Institute of Navarra, according to which the Foundry’s own prevention service and medical service will train two residents in Occupational Medicine and one resident in Occupational Nursing. They will be provided with the necessary competencies in line with the objectives set in the Rotation Plan, which is part of the Individualized Training Plan maintained by the Occupational Health Institute of Navarra.

The training will last two months for third- and fourth-year medical residents specializing in Occupational Medicine, and between two and four weeks for second-year nursing residents specializing in Occupational Nursing. After completing the training, they will apply their skills during one shift per year.

The agreement will come into effect once the Ministry of Health accredits Tafalla Iron Foundry’s prevention service and medical service as an associated teaching facility.
